ANCA, a manufacturer of CNC grinding machines, motion controls and sheet metal solutions, have a lot in store for consumers, manufacturers, and investors alike. The company is unveiling many new technologies, including an integrated manufacturing system, AIMS. AIMS is a system that aids in factory and shopfloor automation for unattended production, with smart automation that connects sequential tool production processes and offers connectivity across the whole factory.
AIMS, being a modular solution, can be deployed in stages, allowing for smooth transition from traditional to automated and integrated manufacturing. This, however, is not the only one of the company’s automated offerings: AutoMarkX is ANCA’s automatic stand-alone laser marking station, which can be used as a standalone machine, or integrated into the AIMS system.
In addition to the release of the AIMS system, ANCA is making updates to its classic ToolRoom system., making it compatible with the company’s GCX Linear, a complete solution that includes the ability to produce skiving cutters, shaper cutters and perform regrinding of hobs. The machine includes a host of technologies such as AEMS dressing, MTC on grinding spindle and dresser spindle, integrated gear tool measurement and direct compensation. GCX Linear offers a stand-alone software to design and optimize the tool for individualized use, but can be interfaced with the gear tool package inside ANCA's ToolRoom software.
ANCA have also released an OD measurement system, CPX in-process. CPX is a quality control system that monitors and controls the OD of ground blanks within a batch production. The system is designed to be permanently mounted within a machine and only called upon when required, based on the set tolerances and the frequency of measurement, an accurate in-process measurement and compensation is applied to maintain the blank OD to the nominal diameter.
With these, and many more additions to the company’s machine and system automation lineup, ANCA is one of the companys making automation accessible to a wider range of manufacturers.
