Marubeni Citizen-Cincom ATC Enables Flexible Machining
Westec 2023: The ATC tooling provides an environment where the tool setting for machining several types of workpieces can be completed in a single setup.
Marubeni Citizen-Cincom Inc. (MCC) has made its B-axis automatic toolchanger (ATC) a permanent, dedicated option on the Citizen Cincom L32- 1M12-ATC. Citizen’s compactly designed B-axis ATC tooling can be mounted on the gang post to enable use of a total of 13 B-axis tools, comprising 12 ATC tools for front machining and one tool built into the tooling. In addition to the capability for machining complex parts like medical parts, the ATC unit/tooling provides an environment where the tool setting for machining several types of workpieces can be completed in a single setup. The tool pitch of B-axis ATC tooling is compatible with 38-mm-diameter bar stock. According to the company, it provides a wide range of milling capabilities.
At Westec 2023, MCC will have live demos running all day on Citizen Cincom L32-1M12-ATC, Citizen Cincom D25-1M7, Citizen Miyano ANX-42SYY, Citizen Miyano BNX-51MSY with Automation in booth 1801.
